EXODUS belongs to the most honored and most influential combos of the well-known Bay Area thrash-metal-scene in California and demonstrates that this scene has not become obsolete these days. The band’s biography is marked by a lot of great successes, which aren’t only results of legendary albums such as “Pleasures Of The Flesh”, “Fabulous Disaster” and the super-cult-debut “Bonded By Blood” (before releasing Metallica’s guitar hero Kirk Hammett was a band member of EXODUS), but also by harsh, dramatic incidents, like the sudden death of terrific frontman Paul Baloff. Nevertheless the band still is on top and appears dynamically than ever. Exodus counts with Testament and Death Angel to the last great and unforgotten representatives of the famous Bay Area.
